What is My Roomie?

My Roomie can be defined in so many ways! It started off as a thumbnail exchange website and is now also a manual traffic exchange, a banner exchange and a text ad exchange all rolled in one! To keep things simple, we like to call ourselves the internet's most awesome blog network.

What is the difference between a roomie and a pro roomie?

Pro roomies have a surfing ratio of 1:1 whereas roomies have a surfing ratio of 2:1. Pro roomies also get a 15% discount for traffic, text ad, thumbnail or banner purchases.

What kind of websites are allowed?

We only accept family-friendly blogs that have no frame breakers or pop-ups. If your website is not a blog, your submission will be rejected - in which case we recommend you to apply to our sister site Surf Sieve instead.

How do members earn credits?

Members earn credits by placing our banner, thumbnail or text ad code on their website. They can also earn credits by surfing websites. There is a 30 second timer, after which you must press a button to go onto the next website. Every new member is given 50 free credits. You can earn additional 50 free credits and 1000 banner impressions by referring other people to our website using your referral link.

How do members use their credits?

Members can add their own websites, banners, thumbnails or text ads to the rotation to bring traffic to their blogs.

How can I advertise on My Roomie?

You can sign up as a member, and click on BUY TRAFFIC in your Tools Page to view the options available. You can buy website traffic, text ads or banner impressions, and our prices start from $5. Paypal is the only payment method. Pro roomies get a 15% discount on all purchases. As an advertiser, you must still abide by our rules, which means no pop ups or framebreakers, and your website has to be a blog with no offensive content.

How do I become a pro roomie?

Either by signing up as a pro roomie, or by clicking on PRO ACCOUNTS in your Tools Page if you are already a member.

How much does it cost to be a pro roomie?

It costs $5 per month. You can cancel your subscription anytime, either from Paypal or from our website. Paypal is the only accepted payment method.

My site contains Adsense ads - is it ok for me to submit my site to your manual traffic exchange program?

It is not advisable for you to submit sites here that contain Adsense ads. Their terms and conditions state that click exchanges are not allowed and your account may get banned.

What are your terms and conditions?
